Calcite is a stone that is recently new to my collection of gems. It is a lovely color and has a calming energy when held.
Calcite can range in a variety of colors from yellow, orange, pink, brown, green and blue, it is frequently translucent.
Calcite would be helpful to keep in children's rooms or in a baby's nursery. This is because it symbolizes mental growth, and promotes development, especially in children. Calcite also aids in healthy bone development and healthy bones in general.
